The police are making progress in their investigation of the incident involving Nikola Jokic’s brother, Strahinja Jokic. According to TMZ Sports, they have successfully located the individual who was punched in the face by Strahinja Jokic earlier this week.
On Thursday morning, a spokesperson from the Denver Police Department stated that they have been in communication with the fan who was punched by Strahinja after Game 2 of the Lakers vs. Nuggets game at Ball Arena on Monday night.
The representative did not disclose whether the man intends to press charges or if he has officially filed a police report.
“The investigation is currently ongoing,” the spokesperson stated, “and no arrests have been made thus far.”
Strahinja is currently not facing any legal issues with the police, and it seems that he is also not currently under scrutiny by the NBA.
The organization stated on Tuesday that it is currently investigating the situation, but no disciplinary action has been taken against the Jokic bro yet. This means that there is a possibility for him to attend Game 3 of the L.A. vs. Denver series at Crypto.com Arena on Thursday night.
Nikola, the superstar of the Nuggets, has remained silent on the matter thus far.
