Police confirm multiple injuries in shooting incident in Long Beach

Late Saturday, a shooting in Long Beach, California resulted in injuries to approximately seven individuals, as reported by the police.

According to a statement from the Long Beach Police Department, officers were dispatched to the vicinity of South Street and Paramount Boulevard at approximately 11:15 p.m.

According to the police, four individuals who were injured are currently in critical condition at local hospitals. Additionally, three other individuals are receiving treatment for injuries that are not considered life-threatening.

In a statement, the police mentioned that the suspect(s) had fled before the officers arrived. At this point, the motive behind the incident and any information about the suspect(s) remains unknown.
