Peeps are not among Kroger’s top-selling Easter candy in Indiana or the surrounding area

This year, Kroger’s list of the five top-selling Easter candies in Indiana and the surrounding area did not include Peeps.

Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs emerged as the top-selling Easter candy at various Kroger’s central division locations, encompassing grocery stores, pharmacies, and gas stations in Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, and Ohio, as stated in a press release.

Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs emerged as the top choice among Easter candy, beating out other popular options like Cadbury Mini Eggs, Lindt Milk Chocolate Bunnies, Easter-themed M&Ms, and Cadbury Crème Eggs.

Kroger introduces a new exclusive Peeps flavor called Sour Strawberry, although it didn’t make it to the top five.

According to Eric Halvorson, Manager of Corporate Affairs for Kroger Central Division, Hoosiers have an unrivaled taste for candy during Easter. He expressed, “No one has better taste in candy than Hoosiers during the Easter season.” Halvorson further added that Kroger is fully prepared to cater to every Easter celebration, offering affordable holiday meal essentials, everyday low prices, and discounts on candy and gifts to ensure a joyous day for all.

Hoosiers can find more than just popular candies for Easter. They can also discover essential items such as egg decorating kits, egg hunting buckets, and gift cards.
