Missing Texas Man Found in California Without Explanation

A person reported missing in Texas since 2023 has been recently discovered in another state. Here’s what we know so far.

As reported by FOX 7 Austin , Perry McCauley Jr. was last seen on Christmas last year in the city of Southlake. He had gone to visit his children for the holiday, and after his visit, it is believed that he returned to his residence in Austin.

According to Perry’s ex-wife, he never made it home, as stated by Rachel McCauley in a comment to FOX 7.

“I’m not sure if he ever made it or not. He didn’t check in that evening. Then weeks passed, and I began reaching out to people – his father, his brother, a few friends we know – but no one had heard or seen anything from him.”

Law enforcement in Southlake received a missing persons report and immediately initiated a search. Fortunately, Perry was located unharmed, although he was not in the anticipated location.

According to Per FOX 11 Los Angeles, Perry was recently discovered in California instead of Texas. At present, there is limited information available regarding the circumstances of his presence in Orange County. The reasons behind his presence in that particular area have not been disclosed either.
