The Mega Millions jackpot has skyrocketed to an impressive $977 million following the absence of any winners in Tuesday night’s drawing. The next drawing is scheduled for Friday night at 11 p.m.
The winning numbers for Saturday night’s draw were 24, 46, 49, 62, and 66, with the gold Mega Ball being 7.
It has been 29 consecutive drawings without a winner hitting the jackpot. The most recent time someone won the jackpot was on December 8th.
The cash value of the jackpot prize amounts to $467 million, which can be claimed either as a single lump sum payment or as an immediate payment followed by 29 annual installments.
According to Mega Millions, the chances of winning the jackpot are 1 in 302,575,350.
Mega Millions is available to players in 45 states, as well as Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands. To participate, players can purchase tickets for $2 per play.
On August 8, 2023, a staggering $1.6 billion Mega Millions jackpot prize was won, making it the largest prize ever won in the history of the game.
