Man from Georgia goes missing after driving to Maryland to care for sick grandmother during Easter

A week has passed, and there is still no sign of the Georgia man who embarked on a journey to Maryland to visit his ailing grandmother.

Andrew Mostyn Jr. was last seen on March 30 at around 4 p.m. as he left a residence in Silver Spring, Maryland, according to Montgomery County Police.

Joy Dameron, the mother of Mostyn, expressed to WUSA-TV that her son visited the National Mall in Washington, DC, and informed his grandmother that he would be back on Sunday for Easter. However, he has not been seen since then.

“He had made Easter plans with her,” Dameron revealed to the TV station. “He told her, ‘I’ll get up to go to Easter service and hide eggs with the cousins.’ They were looking forward to spending the next day together.”

Mostyn failed to report for duty, leaving his loyal canine companion, Koda, behind at his residence.

On the night he vanished, Mostyn’s family claimed to have received mysterious messages from his cellphone.

Dameron expressed her concern about the strange texts her niece received, such as an invitation to come over, despite the fact that he was already gone.

Dameron expressed her sole desire of ensuring her son’s well-being.

She expressed her hope for your safety and her anticipation of seeing you soon.

If you have any information about the whereabouts of Mostyn, who was last seen driving a white 2000 Ford F-150 with Georgia license plate RYH3051, please contact 911 immediately.
