In a hilarious TikTok video, a feline has taken the concept of a “curious cat” to an entirely new level as he was caught following his owner.

While bodega cats are a common sight in many stores, the person in the aisle immediately recognized that this was not just any store cat – it was their own beloved pet.

The owner of the cat was a bit perplexed by how his feline companion had managed to make the journey to the store. In an interview with Newsweek, he revealed that the store was approximately a quarter of a mile away from their house. It was quite an impressive feat for a small cat with such short legs.
The owner swiftly stooped down and scooped up the mischievous feline when he realized it was his own cat that had sneaked into the store. Fortunately, he acted promptly, as this cat seemed determined to accomplish something extraordinary.
The cat made another attempt to escape, darting through the aisle, seemingly on a mission to find the ideal snack to bring back home. Perhaps he had taken it upon himself to become the new bodega cat.
In the comment section, the owner also mentioned that the employee was on the phone and fortunately didn’t notice when a cat sneaked inside.
This cat’s hilarious adventure to the store had viewers in stitches. The TikTok video went viral, garnering over 2.5 million views, 395,500 likes, and 1,065 comments by Tuesday.

The cat’s thoughts were summed up by someone who said, “He said, ‘I wanna know where he goes every day.'” In response, the owner confirmed that indeed the cat does go to that store every day.
