Country music singer Jelly Roll embraces the courage to address the “uncomfortable stuff” in his marriage to TikTok star Bunnie XO head-on, in order to maintain the strength of their relationship, the talented “Son of a Sinner” artist revealed during his conversation with Fox News Digital.

Country singer Jelly Roll experienced a flood of emotions upon completing his inaugural 5K run on Tuesday.

During the 2 Bears 5K organized by podcast hosts Bert Kreischer and Tom Segura, a video captured the emotional moment when the 39-year-old singer, Jelly Roll, wiped away tears at the finish line. Reflecting on his journey, Jelly Roll expressed in an interview with Entertainment Tonight how far he has come since he initially accepted Kreischer and Segura’s 5K By May challenge.

“When I began this journey in January, I couldn’t even walk a mile,” he revealed. “So completing today’s 3-point-whatever distance felt incredibly satisfying and gave me a tremendous sense of accomplishment.”

Jelly Roll, with unwavering confidence, has announced his decision to participate in his inaugural 5K run scheduled for May. Filled with self-belief, the artist expresses his unwavering faith in his abilities and determination to conquer this milestone.

Jelly Roll expressed, “I departed from this place with a strong sense of motivation.”

He also provided an update on his weight-loss journey, sharing that he has shed “around 50 to 70 pounds” since he started training for the race.

After finishing the 5K, the “Son of a Sinner” singer expressed that he was feeling “great” despite being a bit tired.

The singer, along with comedians Tom Segura and Bert Kreischer, participated in the 2 Bears 5K event at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California.

During the 2 Bears 5K, Jelly Roll expressed his thoughts on engaging with fans and shared his excitement about the positive impact he had on them. He described the experience as “really cool” and was delighted to learn that his participation in the run had served as an inspiration to others.

He expressed his admiration for the number of individuals who approached them to share how they were inspired by them, other individuals with a similar build. Witnessing such interactions was truly heartwarming to him.

“What a diverse group of individuals,” he exclaimed about the participants in the race. “I witnessed a man dressed in a bear suit, and there were also people enthusiastically downing beers…”

“People were also setting personal records!” he excitedly exclaimed.

In a recent announcement, Bunny Xo, the wife of Jelly Roll, shared that her husband has decided to take a break from social media following the onslaught of negative comments regarding his weight.

“My husband decided to disconnect from the internet due to the incessant bullying he faced because of his weight,” she emotionally shared on her heartfelt podcast, aptly named “Dumb Blonde.” “It breaks my heart to see him endure such cruelty, especially when he is the kindest and most gentle soul.”

Bunnie Xo opened up to her listeners, revealing a vulnerable side of her husband that he usually doesn’t show. She expressed that his pain is something that deeply affects him, even though he may not openly express it.

The country star expressed his intention to shed an additional 100 pounds after successfully losing weight during his preparation for the 5K race.

Jelly Roll, also known as Jason Bradley DeFord, has openly shared his battle with weight loss throughout his life. In a 2018 Instagram post, the country star bravely disclosed that he weighed over 500 pounds in 2015. However, he took the initiative to embark on a transformative weight-loss journey, shedding an incredible 200 pounds.

In April, Jelly Roll announced his intention to shed another 100 pounds. He had already lost weight while getting ready for the 5K, which was part of the Netflix Is a Joke comedy festival.

Jelly Roll expressed his elation after completing the run, stating that he felt “incredible.”

In an interview with ET, Jelly Roll shared his thoughts on how he experienced his time away from the internet.

“I’m feeling absolutely amazing. I have all my loved ones and close friends by my side,” he expressed with heartfelt enthusiasm. “Burt and I experienced an incredibly emotional moment as we crossed the finish line together.”

“Next year, we are definitely doing a half-marathon!” he exclaimed with determination. “We are committed to this goal and will make it happen.”
