Illinois duo apprehended in Wisconsin following police pursuit of stolen vehicle

Two individuals from Illinois have been apprehended following an eventful pursuit on Monday in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.

The police dashboard camera captured the entire chase on video. In their attempt to apprehend the suspect, officers strategically deployed stop sticks twice to deflate the stolen car’s tires. It is worth noting that the vehicle was reported stolen in Lake County, Illinois.

The pursuit was not brought to a halt, however. Additional squad cars were required to gradually slow down the driver.

According to the police, he lost control of the vehicle, collided with a squad car, and ultimately crashed into a tree.

The driver and a passenger, who had a separate warrant, were apprehended by officers. They were both arrested and will be facing multiple charges.
