Two people lost their lives and two others sustained injuries in a collision involving a white Hino box truck and a white Ford Fusion on northbound Interstate 435 before Missouri 210 Highway.
According to the police report, the Ford vehicle either decelerated or came to a halt for reasons that are currently unknown before being rear-ended by the box truck.
According to the Kansas City Police Department, both the driver and rear passenger of the Ford vehicle were declared deceased at the scene.
