A tragic two-vehicle collision occurred on the 2100 block of W I-20 Freeway at approximately 5:30 a.m. this Wednesday, August 23, 2023, resulting in the death of one individual.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered a 2006 Nissan Murano wrapped around a light pole. The driver of the Nissan Murano was trapped inside the vehicle, and despite the efforts of medical personnel, they were pronounced deceased at the scene.

The identity of the deceased driver will be released by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office once their next of kin have been notified. The incident serves as a tragic reminder of the importance of safe driving and adhering to speed limits. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
