Co-worker allegedly kills Ga. Walmart employee, prompting GoFundMe campaign for funeral costs

A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to support the family of a Walmart employee who tragically lost their life on Friday night.

According to authorities, Antavius Holton was shot by his co-worker, Adrian Jelks, at the Walmart store in Fayetteville.

โ€œA family member wrote on the GoFundMe page, pleading for help to bury Antavius Holton, a beloved figure in the city of Riverdale, who had a deep passion for his fashion clothing line. They kindly requested any assistance that could be provided to bring him peace and lay him to rest.โ€

Jelks remains at large and is considered to be armed and dangerous.

During the shooting incident, a 9-year-old girl was also unfortunately wounded by a gunshot.

She was admitted to the hospital and her condition was stable.
