Thanks to Make-A-Wish Georgia, a young cancer survivor was able to fulfill one of his dreams.

Arya Patel, age 10, fulfilled his dream of being a police officer when he had the opportunity to experience it firsthand for a day.

After being sworn in by the Cobb County Police Department, he embarked on a full day of activities.

The participants had the opportunity to experience a simulated search and rescue mission, as well as explore the training facility during the eventful day.

“It’s an incredible feeling. I absolutely adore being a police officer because I’ve witnessed them apprehending criminals and making our communities safer. So, it’s a profession I am passionate about,” expressed Patel.
