Arrest made in case of 22-year-old alleged robber of armored trucks in metro Atlanta over a year ago

In 2023, a man who allegedly robbed two armed trucks has been apprehended and is currently in custody.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation reported that last year, Demarco Johnson, 22, also known as “Gloxk,” was responsible for robbing two armored trucks.

The robberies took place in Tucker on February 6, 2023, and in Snellville on March 20, 2023.

An arrest warrant was issued on August 23, 2023 by federal authorities.

The FBI and Loomis US have come together to offer a joint reward of $15,000 to anyone who can provide information that will lead to the arrest and conviction of Johnson.

The FBI made an announcement on Tuesday, revealing that Johnson had been apprehended in Atlanta.

Johnson faces multiple charges, including conspiracy to commit Hobbs Act robbery, Hobbs Act robbery, and possession of a firearm during a crime of violence.

The agency expressed their gratitude to everyone who assisted in apprehending him. They have not disclosed any additional information at this time.
