Alleem Borden Arrest: Captured Escaped Philadelphia Suspect

According to US Marshals, Alleem Borden, who was reportedly being held in connection with a stolen car, managed to escape while being discharged from Episcopal Hospital.

Borden was located at an address in Johnstown, Cambria County, where Marshals discovered him hiding in an attic crawlspace. Officials reported that the 29-year-old had to be forcefully extracted from the attic and was subsequently transported to a local jail. He is now awaiting extradition to Philadelphia.

Supervisory Deputy Marshal Robert Clark reassured the public that they can find solace in knowing that a specialized and dedicated fugitive task force is in place to track down individuals who have escaped custody or are facing charges for violent crimes.

The Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force, along with the Philadelphia Police Department’s East Detective Division, the Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force, the Johnstown Police Department, the Cambria County Sheriffโ€™s Office, and the Pennsylvania State Police, provided assistance.
