Third man has been charged with murder in connection with the shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs parade

A third individual has been charged by prosecutors in connection with the tragic death of Lisa Lopez-Galvan and the injuries sustained by over two dozen individuals at the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade last month. The suspect was apprehended based on a thorough investigation involving surveillance footage, social media, and cell phone data.

A 20-year-old resident of Kansas City, Terry Young, is facing charges of second-degree murder, unlawful use of a weapon, and two counts of armed criminal action following his alleged involvement in the tragic incident. According to reports, Young was accused of brandishing a gun and discharging multiple rounds during the shooting.

FANS FLEEING THE SHOOTING

Officials allege that, based on court documents, surveillance footage captured an individual displaying a firearm during a verbal altercation. As a response, Young reportedly unveiled his own weapon, approached the individuals involved, and proceeded to fire.

Detectives identified Young by thoroughly examining his social media profiles and YouTube videos. In these online platforms, they discovered footage of him donning the exact same green and yellow teddy bear backpack that he purportedly carried during the parade.

Officials were able to gain access to Young’s Facebook account, where they discovered videos of him with firearms and other suspects involved in the shooting.

On Wednesday, Young was taken into custody by the authorities, and they have asked for a $1 million cash bond for his release.

Lyndell Mays, Dominic Miller, and two juveniles are also facing charges in connection with the shooting, as we mentioned earlier.

All the shooters involved in the incident are now believed to be in custody, with additional charges expected to be filed at a later date.
