Trump threatens to go to jail for using his right to free speech, but he does not impose a gag order

In a bold statement, Donald Trump expressed his willingness to go to jail in order to defend his right to free speech. However, it seems that he is aware of the boundaries set by a New York judge and stopped short of crossing them.

Trump is currently restricted by a limited gag order in the New York hush money criminal case. This order prohibits him from discussing individuals involved in the case, such as witnesses, jurors, and prosecutors, with the exception of the judge.

The letters were filled with harsh and personal criticisms, directed at presiding Judge Juan Merchan, Judge Arthur Engoron, who was overseeing the civil fraud case against Trump and his business, and federal Judge Lewis Kaplan, who presided over a civil defamation case involving Trump. However, these letters did not target witnesses or other court staff.

“If this Partisan Hack dares to imprison me for boldly speaking the undeniable truth, I would proudly embrace the role of a Modern Day Nelson Mandela. It would be a tremendous honor for me,” declared Trump in his post.

Jasmine Harris, the Director of Black Media for Biden-Harris 2024, strongly criticized Trump’s comparison to the iconic South African human rights leader.

In a statement, Harris expressed her disbelief at Donald Trump’s self-centeredness, highlighting his audacity in comparing himself to both Jesus Christ and Nelson Mandela within a short period of just over a week.

President Joe Biden has consistently outpaced his predecessor in fundraising as they both vie for another term in the White House.

The invitation, which has been obtained by USA TODAY, reveals that the guest list includes a group of extremely wealthy individuals. Among them are Jose “Pepe” Fanjul, a sugar mogul from Palm Beach County, and Wilbur Ross, a former Secretary of Commerce who currently resides in Palm Beach.

The invitation states that the admission fee is set at $250,000, with a maximum contribution of $814,600, according to the Washington Post. This contribution is said to secure a seat at Trump’s table.

Biden-Harris 2024 reports first-quarter money haul

President Joe Biden’s campaign announced on Saturday that it has succeeded in raising over $187 million in the first quarter of 2024. Impressively, they managed to secure more than $90 million in the month of March alone.

The statement highlighted that Team Biden-Harris’s impressive first-quarter fundraising was primarily propelled by the unwavering support of grassroots contributors. As opposed to Trump’s reliance on wealthy individuals for financial backing, the Biden-Harris campaign demonstrated the consistent growth of their grassroots movement.
