Two missing or runaway juveniles from Indiana apprehended after attempted carjacking in St. Louis

Two Indiana juveniles, aged 12 and 16, who were reported missing or as runaways, have been apprehended by St. Louis Police. The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon in the Boulevard Heights neighborhood when the two individuals attempted to carjack an 82-year-old driver.

The incident report from the police states that the attempted carjacking took place at approximately 2:50 p.m. on Quincy Street, in the 4100 block. The victim recounted that as she was parking her car in the alley next to her house, she was approached by two juveniles who asked her for a ride.

Two juveniles ran away on foot and were apprehended near the intersection of Menard Street and Russell Boulevard. Police recovered a BB gun at the scene.

According to the police, the identities of the two suspects were not available as they were reported as missing or runaways from Indiana. Due to their ages, they were transported to a juvenile facility.
