A law enforcement official from Palm Beach County is raising concerns about the influx of illegal immigration in the area, particularly in the vicinity of Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence.
Florida officials and politicians, including Governor Ron DeSantis and Representative Matt Gaetz, have raised concerns about the potential influx of migrants to the state as a result of escalating gang violence in Haiti.
On Wednesday, Governor DeSantis took action by mobilizing emergency personnel, the Florida State Guard, and state law enforcement agencies. He deployed a significant reinforcement of over 250 officers and soldiers, along with a fleet of air and sea craft, to safeguard Florida’s southern coast.
On Tuesday, a U.S. military official verbally confirmed to Gaetz the need for preparations to be made for a potential mass migration event, during which Haitians may seek refuge in Florida. This confirmation prompted Gaetz to take action and coordinate efforts with the U.S. Navy and other relevant agencies.
According to Bradshaw, the three individuals involved in the sexual assault case most likely entered the United States through Mexico. He further commented that, in his 52 years of being in law enforcement, the level of illegal immigration he has witnessed is the highest he has ever seen.
According to the mayor, the FBI has informed his office that cities like Miami are now home to some of the world’s most dangerous gangs from countries such as Venezuela, Guatemala, and Haiti.
FBI Director Christopher Wray expressed his concern about the increasing number of migrants entering the United States illegally with counterfeit identification. This poses a significant challenge for the various domestic intelligence agencies responsible for border security and immigration matters as they are unable to accurately assess these individuals.
Sheriff Bradshaw expressed his deep concern over the presence of these individuals in the country, emphasizing the gravity of their ability to commit such crimes. He strongly condemned their actions, deeming them as unconscionable. He further emphasized that their criminal activities would not be limited to Miami alone, as they would venture to other locations to carry out their nefarious deeds.
According to him, the individuals responsible for these actions do not seem to have a specific target in mind. They do not differentiate between Dade, Broward, or Palm Beach County. Instead, they simply carry out their actions without regard for location. As a result, the authorities will need to find a way to address and handle these situations effectively.
According to reports, the suspects stood before a judge on Tuesday, who set their bond at $200,000 each. Their next court appearance is slated for April 10th.
