Iowa star Caitlin Clark made history on Sunday as she became the all-time NCAA scoring leader. In a game against No. 2 Ohio State, Clark broke the 54-year-old record set by the late Pete Maravich. Her record-breaking moment came when she made two free throws after a technical foul was called. It was a remarkable achievement for the No. 6 Hawkeyes and a testament to Clark’s incredible talent and skill.
Clark needed only 18 points to surpass Maravich’s record of 3,617 points, which he achieved in a remarkable 86 games during his time at LSU from 1967 to 1970.
Just four days later, Clark shattered Maravich’s record when she scored an impressive 33 points against Minnesota. This remarkable achievement came shortly after she had already broken Lynette Woodard’s major college women’s record.
