In Alabama, Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama recently shared an image of a man who is being sought for questioning. The man is believed to have cashed a check without proper authorization from the check’s legitimate owner.
The official news release states:
A check for $5,000 was cashed by an unknown person in July 2023. The owner of the account reported that the check was not authorized, and they did not know the person who cashed it. Detectives obtained this photo from video surveillance and are asking the public for help with identifying the person shown.
