Shayanna Jenkins, the partner of the late Patriots star and mother of his only child, expressed her disappointment with the Netflix program that made multiple jokes at the expense of her deceased fiancé. She shared her frustration with TMZ, stating that she found it disheartening that the show made light of his tragic story.
“It breaks my heart to think that I am raising my children in a world that can be so unkind,” she laments.
According to Shayanna, even though Aaron is no longer here and there are plenty of opinions about him and his life, their 11-year-old daughter remains a significant part of their lives.
According to her, the fact that her daughter is entering her preteen years guarantees that she will come across the hurtful comments made about her father on Sunday. These comments were made by a group of adults who found amusement in his unfortunate passing, which is particularly disheartening for her daughter as she considered him her hero.
In the end, Shayanna firmly believes that Aaron should have been off-limits, but unfortunately, he was not.
Throughout the roast, Aaron was the subject of several jokes, both directly and indirectly. One of the roasters, Nikki Glaser, made a joke about Aaron and a ring around his neck. Another joke came from his ex-teammate, Julian Edelman, who made a hanging quip as well.
