The 2024 Met Gala is the perfect opportunity to embrace full-on glamour like never before.
It comes as no surprise that Pamela Anderson decided to end her streak of red carpet appearances without makeup when she made her debut on the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on May 6. (See all the stars who attended the 2024 Met Gala here.)
At the “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” event, Pamela Anderson looked absolutely stunning in an off-the-shoulder gown by Oscar de la Renta. Keeping in line with the event’s “Garden of Time” theme, she paired the dress with a faux leather headpiece by Noel Stewart. Her hair was styled in a beautiful wavy updo, and she wore a glowing, fresh-faced makeup look crafted by the legendary makeup artist, Pat McGrath. To complete her ensemble, the 56-year-old actress adorned herself with a necklace featuring pink-and-white lab-grown diamonds by Pandora.
Before the Met Gala, Pamela, who has children Brandon Thomas Lee, 27, and Dylan Jagger Lee, 26, with her ex Tommy Lee, had already started opting for a makeup-free look for public appearances as early as January 2023. This decision coincided with the release of her memoir, Love, Pamela. Since then, she has garnered immense praise for embracing her natural beauty and eschewing makeup during photoshoots and high-profile events like Paris Fashion Week in 2024.
