A tragic incident in Kansas City, Missouri claimed the life of one individual and left another with severe injuries on Friday morning.
According to the Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department, a Tesla 3 driver was traveling south on N. Platte Purchase Drive at a high speed at approximately 7:37 a.m. on Friday.
The Tesla driver failed to navigate a curve in the road and veered into the northbound lanes, resulting in a head-on collision with a Buick Encore.
According to the police, the woman driving the Buick was taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The Tesla driver sustained critical injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The collision is currently under investigation by the KCPD.
