A party results in guns fired, and a pedestrian is hit by a car

Police in Indianapolis are currently investigating a disturbing incident that occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning. The incident involved a party that escalated into shots being fired and resulted in an individual being struck by a car in downtown Indianapolis.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department reported that the incident began with a party at the “The Point On Mass” Apartment Complex on East Michigan Street.

According to the police, gunshots were fired at approximately 2:15 a.m., but fortunately, no one was injured by the gunfire. However, a person who was fleeing from the incident was unfortunately hit by a car. The injured individual was promptly taken to a nearby hospital and is currently in stable condition.

The police apprehended a male suspect and took him into custody.

The events leading up to the gunshots being fired and whether the person who was hit by the vehicle was intentionally targeted remains unclear.
