Taylor Swift’s workout routine is extremely intense, to the point where it can make some individuals feel nauseous, while others may find themselves completely exhausted on the floor. This revelation comes straight from the mouth of Kirk Myers, the esteemed trainer who works with the pop sensation.
In a recent interview with Vogue, Myers opened up about Taylor Swift’s impressive workout routine, proudly embracing his long-held title as “Taylor Swift’s trainer.” After a decade of working together, he finally shared some insights into the superstar’s killer exercise regimen.
According to Myers, he outlined the steps Taylor took to prepare for her worldwide “Eras” tour, which involved performing for a staggering 3 hours and 15 minutes per show.
They choreographed her workout in a manner similar to that of a professional athlete. They created an “off-season” routine for when she wasn’t touring and an “in-season” routine for when she was performing.
Off-season training proved to be quite challenging for Taylor as she dedicated herself to rigorous workouts, pushing herself up to six days a week. Each session lasted for approximately two hours, allowing her to fully immerse herself in improving her strength and overall fitness. Her training regimen focused on enhancing her core strength, ensuring optimal balance and stability, essential for her captivating performances on stage.
TAYLOR TAKES TOKYO
While on the road, Taylor prioritized her in-season training to ensure she maintained her stability, mobility, and strength. She dedicated time to performing biomechanical stretches that targeted her spine, soft tissues, and other joints in her body, aiming to enhance their strength and flexibility.
According to Myers, Taylor was incredibly dedicated to her exercise routine. She would give high-intensity performances for four consecutive concerts and still manage to find the time and energy to hit the gym.
FEELING 34!
According to Myers, Taylor is an incredibly resilient individual. He expressed his admiration for her ability to face and overcome every challenging obstacle before moving on to the next one.
On a side note, Myers and Taylor Swift first crossed paths thanks to a mutual friend. It’s worth mentioning that Myers was already a big fan of Taylor and her music. He’s just another Swiftie!
