A shooting incident in Fountain Square on Sunday afternoon has left one person in critical condition.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department received a report of a person shot at Virginia Avenue and Shelby Street, prompting officers to respond swiftly.
Upon their arrival, law enforcement officers discovered a victim who had sustained gunshot injuries.
The victim’s condition was reported as critical.
IMPD has detained a person of interest.
